So you’re ready to join us at generationYOU Adelaide 2017! But you still want to know a few key details like who the speakers are for the day and what they’ll be speaking about. Well, we’re going to give you a little insight into who some of our legendary speakers are and what they’re going to be chatting to you about!

Talking all things recruitment myth busting are our speakers Lauren & Melanie. You get 40 minutes of constant tips to help you get the job you really want (time to make use of that pen and paper!)  

Lauren Evans, Graduate Programs Consultant, Ashurst // Lauren is currently a HR consultant in Melbourne for global law firm, Ashurst. Primarily responsible for managing the clerkship and graduate programs, Lauren has worked across a variety of industries in the UK, Europe and most recently in Asia specialising in graduate recruitment and development.

Melanie Flintoft, Co-Founder + Creative Director, Australian Fashion Label // Melanie is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Australian Fashion Labels (AFL), a ‘house of brands’ apparel company, which delivers a vertical multi-brand and multi-channel strategy.  AFL has more than 1,700 stockists around the world, including several major department stores. AFL wholesales to +20 countries and has online business shipping to +55 countries globally.

Spilling all his knowledge on owning your personal brand is our speaker David. Your personal brand is the most powerful asset that you will carry with you throughout your life – so make sure you pay attention during this session so that you can get it right!

David O’Loughlin, Partner + Strategy Director, KWP! // David comes from an advertising agency background starting with Young & Rubicam in Adelaide in the early 90s, then working in Canada and Chicago, and Saatchi & Saatchi in Sydney as head of strategy. He returned to Adelaide in 2011 where he took up the position of Director, Marketing and Communications with the South Australian Tourism Commission before joining KWP! as Partner and Strategy Director in 2014.

Sharing her expertise on critical thinking in the enterprise skills session is our speaker Anne. This session will address key skills you need at work regardless of your industry – listen closely as Anne details how to master critical thinking.

Anne has over 17 years of experience in the corporate world, mostly leading large programs of transformational change.  Her work has taken her from Adelaide to London, where she spent time deploying global projects (and generally enjoying Europe!), and back to Adelaide.  Now Anne is a founding Partner and Principal Consultant at 6 Degrees Consulting.
